MeeGo on Beagleboard

Session Summary:

MeeGo on the BeagleBoard opens some very nice opportunities by combining nice touchscreen UIs with the ability to interface custom hardware. Possibilities range from home automation via generic sensorics to remote control devices etc etc ...

Session Abstract:

This talk is meant to explain some of the basics of getting MeeGo to run on the BeagleBoard incl. the various UX variants and the various beagleboard variants. This will be the foundation for "visions" regarding the usage of MeeGo outside the handset/tablet/netbook/ivi world. Some of these visions may very well be implemented until then since they e.g. can be based upon similar things i have started with maemo when the devices were still able to do usb host.
